His highly anticipated third album, SHAPESHIFTER, arrives September 4, 2026.
“SHAPESHIFTER is my post personal album yet. It’s an exploration of love, loss, resilience, identity, and transformation” he explains. “I am inviting listeners to embrace change, chase meaning, and discover themselves somewhere between the songs.”
Lucky’s self-produced debut album, Lucky Mays, was released on November 1, 2019, followed by several independently released singles and his sophomore album RIDING ON SUNBEAMS released in 2024 – with SHAPESHIFTER arriving in September 2026! Lucky has garnered recognition for his work, including BMI Songwriter awards and New Mexico Music Awards (2020 Winner: NMMA Best Country Song, Best Album Design & Packaging; 2020 Nominee: NMMA Best Country Album, Norman Petty Producer’s Award; 2025 Nominee: NMMA Best Country Album). Despite these accolades, he humbly asserts,

Lucky owns and operates a private recording facility, Unfurnished Studios, and manages his song catalog through Fidelia Music Publishing (BMI). His music has also been featured in film, several YouTube webseries, including the soundtrack for the full-length film Caffeine & Gasoline: The Evolution of the American Rocker (available on Amazon Prime).
